The Italian brand Gucci is launching a collection of eco sunglasses . The new glasses are made from an acetate high in natural materials, using less petro chemicals or a material made from castor seeds . And the both new materials look pretty similar to normal sunglasses material.

In this initiative Gucci is hand in hand with Safilo Group - the company which manufacturing sunglasses and optics for most famous brands like Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent.

Brazilian designer created "invisible" shoes

Brazilian designer Andreia Chavez has made this marvelous pair of invisible shoes "mirror-covered shoes that, by reflecting the ground around them, look like you're seeing through them to the ground behind." This shoe is basically a wedge of mirrors, which appear as though they would pinch and slice the sides of your feet like a blade of a shaver. 

The invisible shoe is one of five different concepts created by Andreia Chaves. For Andrea, each shoe is a work of art that is representative of the chaos of everyday life. Whilst studying 'form, texture and visual effect' in Florence, she has been experimenting with different materials within footwear design, playing with contours and shapes.

Nooka - watches from the future!

New York is the city of the future and those who are in love with it, are drawing inspiration there. Nooka is a New York fashion design company (Nooka is a slang for "New Yorker") founded by artist/designer Matthew Waldman. The ethos of Nooka is universal language, which guides the creation of products with enhanced functionality with this futuristic philosophy. 

The first products in the portfolio of Nooka are the watches. The idea of a unique design comes while Waldman is watching the big clock in a London hotel and asks himself why the visualization of time is so standard. He immediately sketched a few ideas for design and took them with him in New York. After working on them for a while, he managed to patent the unique displays. 

The linear and graphic visualization of time in the Nooka watches provokes intuitive perception of time and makes it more like an abstract value. New technologies and materials inspire new interactions and ways of thinking.
